FAQ

How can we help you?

Here is a list of the most commonly asked questions! Click the question below to reveal the answer. Please call 662-280-8282 with any other inquiries.

What do I need to do to prepare for my arrival?
Check out our handy countdown calendar for all important dates leading up to your stay.
What is good camping etiquette

If you’re a first time camper, you may have some questions on the best camping etiquette. Learn how you can be a good neighbor, stay safe during your trip, and more, here.

Can I arrive early and/or depart late?
Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival. Extended access (after check-out time) does not guarantee guest will be able to stay on site/in cabin until departing from the Camp-Resort. Early access/extended access only guarantees access to the Camp-Resort and Camp-Resort amenities, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability and involves a fee based on the time of check-in – please call for info. We absolutely cannot accommodate access prior to 11AM, so please plan your travel accordingly.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are between 10PM –  7AM. All campers must observe quiet hours by regulating their activities so that others will not be disturbed. Any guest under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Can I bring my converted bus to camp in on an RV site?
All converted buses and RVs older than 5 years old must be approved prior to arrival.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?
Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only. They may not be used towards day camp passes or any on-site amenities, Ranger Station items, etc.

Gift cards can be purchased here.

Do you have RVs available to rent?
While we do not rent RVs ourselves, we do partner with RV Share, a peer-to-peer online RV rental service. Browse available RVs here, or list your RV here. With the rental of an RV from RV Share, you will still need to reserve a site.
What are the office hours?
Our office hours are 10AM-6PM (Sun) and 8AM-6PM (Mon-Sat).

For more information, feel free to give us a call at 662-280-8282.

Can I bring pool toys to play with in the pool?
Yes, you may bring small water toys (i.e. pool noodles). No rafts or full-size inflatables.
Do you offer a military discount?

Yes! We want to show our appreciation for all active duty and retired military service men and women by offering 10% off during weekday stays in a cabin or at a campsite – all season long!

*Offer not valid during holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day). Must present valid ID at check-in.

Where can I find information about themed weeks and weekends at the Camp-Resort?
Good question! You can find a list of our upcoming themed weeks and weekends here.
What is your pet policy?
Pets are allowed free of charge at RV sites and with an applicable fee for select pet-friendly cabins – for 1 pet, there is a flat fee of $40. For 2 pets, there is a flat fee of $60. There is a $250 one-time pet fee for monthly stays. Maximum 2 pets per RV site/pet-friendly cabin. Pets are not allowed at tent sites. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pet(s) and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. Please keep your pet on a leash and never left outside unattended. Dog pens are not permitted. For the safety of our guests, pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the Camp-Resort. View our pet waiver here.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. This is a family-friendly Camp-Resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
What is your smoking policy?
As a courtesy to all of our guests, smoking of any substance, (including vaping) is not allowed in any outdoor common areas (pools, pavilion, etc.) or indoor facilities (cabins, restrooms, recreation buildings, etc.). All of our cabins are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on cabin porches and at campsites, but it must be confined to your designated site. Smoking of any substance besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
Are campfires allowed?
You bet! Please confine them to designated areas and do not leave them unattended. Firewood may not be brought into the Camp-Resort from an external location as it can spread bugs and pests to our trees. Firewood is available for purchase from the Ranger Station during business hours.
Are fireworks allowed?
With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed at the Camp-Resort.
Can we cut down trees for firewood?
Trees – both living and dead – may not be cut down or damaged in any way. There will be a $200 per tree fine if damage occurs.
Do you offer any discounts for bloggers?
Calling all photographers, bloggers, and social media enthusiasts! Interested in getting a discount off your next stay in exchange for your vacation photos or a blog post on your stay? We want to hear from you! Simply contact us with your proposal and please include a links to your website and/or socials. We will get back to you at our earliest convenience.
What is the speed limit?
The speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5 MPH. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
I am renting a cabin. What should I bring with me?
Great choice! Please bring personal necessities, all linens (sheets, towels and pool towels, and kitchen towels), outdoor grill utensils, paper towels, and food. We provide pillows, blankets, and (1) hand soap for the bathroom. Are you wondering if your cabin has a particular kitchen item? View more information on individual cabin types here.
This is my first time visiting Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort Memphis. Is there anything I should know?
We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. For campfire cooking and tasty s’mores, you might want to bring roasting sticks and other utensils. You are also welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around the Camp-Resort. And keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at the Camp-Resort, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well. If you have any questions about your upcoming stay, our friendly Reservations team is here to help! Feel free to give us a call at (662) 280-8282.
